Details Upgrade all free and purchased versions of software to close security holes.

Many of you are using web calendars, bulletin boards or chat programs that were aquired free as they are open source programs.
Please upgrade your programs to the newest versions to eliminate the possibility of your site being hacked.
Hackers use these programs vulnerabilites to inject irc bots which effect the stability of the system.
As vulnerabilites are discovered patches and revisions are released to close those holes.
If you installed a program years ago chances are it is vulnerable and can be used to gain access to your web site.
